The people behind NeverMiss

We are Steven Siebert and Lars Weidner. We founded NeverMiss in Frankfurt so that practices stay reachable, even when the team has no hand free.

Why we exist

So no call goes nowhere

The phone rings while the team is with a patient. Callers who cannot get through try again later or call the next practice. For the practice, that is a lost appointment. For the patient, a poor first impression.

We built NeverMiss for exactly these moments: a digital receptionist that picks up, understands the request and books the appointment. It is not meant to replace the front desk team, but to take the calls nobody there has time for right now.

The team

Who you will be working with

At NeverMiss there is no call centre and no waiting line. When you talk to us, you talk to the two people who built the product and stand behind it.

Lars built the technology behind NeverMiss and runs it: the server in a data centre in Nuremberg, the phone connection, the speech processing and the encrypted storage. He makes sure that as little as possible is stored.

What we stand by

What applies to every call

These four principles are built into the assistant, not written into the small print.

The AI identifies itself

Every conversation starts with a notice that a digital assistant is on the line. Anyone who would rather speak to a person is put through to the practice team or can leave a callback request.

Emergencies before appointments

If a request sounds like an emergency, the assistant stops booking and immediately refers the caller to 112 or the relevant out-of-hours service. It makes no diagnoses and never gives the all-clear.

As little data as possible

Our server is located in Germany. Of the conversation itself, we keep neither audio nor a transcript there, only an encrypted summary for your practice. The basis is a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

Your practice decides

The assistant follows the rules you set: which appointments it offers, when it answers and when it transfers a call. What happens next with a request is always up to your team.

“When nobody answers the phone at a practice, it is almost never the team’s fault. It is because nobody can be in two places at once.”
Steven Siebert and Lars Weidner, founders of NeverMiss
